Snaidero began as a small cabinet shop in Majano, Italy (about 60 miles northeast of Venice) in 1946, founded by Mr. Rino Snaidero. Rebounding from the devastation of WWII, Mr. Snaidero laid the foundation for a future of growth, innovation and worldwide expansion. Over the next several decades Snaidero grew from small furniture shop to large industrial company, opening their large modern factory in Majano in 1960 and their iconic headquarters building in 1977.
In the years since, Snaidero has blazed a trail of creativity and originality, pioneering new concepts, new materials, new manufacturing techniques and indeed a new way to think about the kitchen’s place in the home and our lives. Snaidero was the first Italian company to develop the concept of the personalized kitchen, designed to meet the aesthetic and functional needs of a new, more sophisticated consumer. Snaidero is now a global company with a 1.1 million sq. ft. factory, 6 European production facilities and distribution in 80 countries.
The company is well known for its collaborations with some of Italy’s preeminent designers and architects. Approaching the field of kitchen design from diverse perspectives, these partners have infused fresh energy and vision, expanding the boundaries of what a kitchen can be. The list of design luminaries includes Virgilio Forchiassin, Angelo Mangiarotti, Giovanni Offredi, Massimo Iosa Ghini, Gae Aulenti, and of course Ferrari designer Pininfarina. Current partners include Pininfarina, Pietro Arosio, Michele Marcon, Lucci and Orlandini Design and Monica Armani.
For over 30 years Snaidero USA has been providing kitchens for an affluent, design-conscious clientele here in the United States. Headquartered in Torrance, CA, Snaidero’s strong domestic presence insures a high level of customer service.
